According to Former FBI Director James Comey's book and book-promotion interviews, he says that when he told Trump about the salacious material in the Steele dossier, he didn't tell him that Hillary's campaign had funded the creation of that dossier because it wasn't necessary for his "goal." He elaborated that his goal was to tell the President, "Mr.President, my goal is to alert you that we have salacious and unverified material about you." The goal? "To Make the Power of the Director Great Again."
