I have sympathy for his family for they are suffering a tragic loss and I'm sure he was a nice man that will be missed deeply by all that knew him. However I feel anger with all this media attention with their touching yada yada yada.

I cannot forget or yet forgive the MSM that did everything in their power to undermine this country and our Command in Chief during a time of war. As long as I'm on this earth I will never forget the media's treasonous behavior these past 5 or 6 years. Tim Russert's
employer NBC took part in these acts of treason, and because of that I have no tears to shed.

I agree with your commentary but keep your rhetoric private as you have done.
The artwork is great!
Exccept......??? HE WE will BE MISSED?
If it was Rush who died.....the left would be dancing in the streets much like the rest of the world danced as the WTC fell to the ground.

Linking the picture to news stories you call out in your artwork would be a great service.

Actually, a Kos blogger did much worse, as reported here:

'Burn in Hell, Tim Russert, You Talentless Lackey'

But you know, after seeing all those accolades on TV for the last two days, I'm disgusted and really tempted to put this up on the first page.

In fact, what is mostly insulting in that Kos post is not the fact that he speaks ill of the deceased, but the utter delusional moonbattery of the blogger who imagines Russert to be on the right.

I've never watched Meet the Press so I can't pass judgment on Tim Russert; however, on ABC News Friday night, Charles Gibson memorialized him and showed only one clip of Russert in an interview--with VP Cheney back before the war started. Russert asked about the possibility of a prolonged war with lots of casualties, etc., and Cheney had a very optimistic outlook on how it'd be quick and Americans would be greeted as liberators, etc. In the overall context of the "videobituary", I thought showing that clip was a gratuitous cheap shot at Cheney and ultimately Bush. Reminded me of how the left tried to politicize the funerals of Paul Wellstone and Coretta Scott King.

What "acquittal" was really saying in his Kos blog:

It's not fair Tim Russert got paid 5 million a year to do the very same thing I'm stuck having to do here at Kos for nothing! Especially when I have wa-aay more talent and genius than he does! I mean look, dude--this is the first blog I've ever written where every word is my own, instead of my usual pissy comments (f**k Bill O'Reilly and his lisp) intermingled with links copied and pasted from other lefty blogs. Tim just happened to know and blow the right people. Everyone thinks they're a f**king journalist nowadays, true aspiring talent like me just doesn't have a chance anymore. Obama 08!

Pinkie - I think you just nailed down the underlying meaning of the entire Obama's message of hope and change.

It reminds me of the tearful roll call with sobbing senators expressing their condolences for Teddy Kennedy. And he receives a hero's farewell for what?

Did he die? Of alcohol poisoning?

Not yet. He has a brain tumor which was operated on by American doctor. I wonder, why didn't he go to Britain or Cuba?

That would be a great name for a website that attacks members of the media, Laika. Would be nice to see a website that humiliates and belittles the likes of Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann etc. by catching them in scandals and by making their private lives public.

Now that enough time has passed since Tim Russert's death, can I ask a couple of questions?
[*]Was it Tim Russert that Mark Levin used to refer to as Mr. Potatohead?
[*]Was it Tim Russert's show that many commentators used to call "Meet the Depressed?"

Thank you.

Actually, I remember a time when I liked to watch Tim Russert and for the most part considered him rather a conservative person who was basically even handed in his interviews, That seems to have slipped away the past few years however.
