Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago,
and our nation was the most prosperous in the world.
We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.
What the hell happened? Can you spell 'politicians!'"
"I've found that for a nation to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket, pulling the handles and expecting himself to get out." -Winston Churchill.

Now wait just a Leiningrad second here. You are not suggesting that the People should not pay these and even more taxes are you?
Now this is an inspiration!
Tax his land, Tax his bed, Tax the table At which he's fed
Tax his tractor, Tax his mule, Teach him taxes Are the rule.
Tax his cow, Tax his goat, Tax his pants, Tax his coat.
Tax his ties, Tax his shirt, Tax his work, Tax his dirt.
Tax his tobacco, Tax his drink, Tax him if he Tries to think.
Tax his cigars, Tax his beers, If he cries, then Tax his tears.
Tax his car, Tax his gas, Find other ways To tax his ass
Tax all he has Then let him know That you won't be done Till he has no dough.
When he screams and hollers, Then tax him some more, Tax him till He's good and sore.
Then tax his coffin , Tax his grave, Tax the sod in Which he's laid.
Put these words Upon his tomb, ' Taxes drove me to my doom...'
When he's gone, Do not relax, Its time to apply The inheritance tax.

No, no, no, no Honorable Chairman. I'm saying, "Look at all these taxes Amerikans are paying, why don't they either remove them all and prove how capitalism will ruin them, or go the way of The Party, and have everyone become glorious communist."
My comment, "And they say we pay too much" means, they complain about all their taxes. We have made a glorious system of a set amount of pay, just enough to buy a shovel, warm cloths, and some food, while the extra "capitalist helping" money goes to glorious Party programs.

Did you get that selection via e-mail? The list came from an e-mail that started with that saying.

Comrade Eliot, one can only wonder the sort of tax the Chairman will insist you pay should he see that you referred to me as his excellence. I can understand the misunderstanding however, the Chairman and I both share a deep and strong dedication to the Parry, the Progressive World of Next Tuesday, the sacrifices that will be needed (by others of course) to achieve these goals. and of course the Chairman and I are more equal than others in the "looks" department.
Yes, I see your point. The irony is that those losers who are complaining now about the entirely reasonable taxes the Party has gradually asked from these capitalists has not prevented this country from having more than others and hogging the wealth of the planet, bringing hate and shame on us from all the other good people of this world. Requiring a few more taxes will only serve to make us stronger and more liked around the world! Of course eventually, we will strive for a world wide, simplified tax structure on the people.
Finally, have you been reading my email Comrade?

No sir, I haven't read your e-mails, (Karakter off) but it is amusing how some of the good e-mails, like that one, come around.

I remember my mom singing that lovely tax lullaby song to me every night when she put me in my combination crib-orange crate. In fact, I could not go to sleep at night until I had taken some money from other family members in my little collective i called home. I am surprised you didn't include that in the original post.
