They believe that Trump is Hitler because - even if it's false, like Man-Made Global Warming, it's beneficial to their cause. It's their Pascal's Wager.

One of the problems with Pascal's Wager is that I feel the need to laugh my ass off at atheists once I get to heaven, which attitude would probably get me kicked out of heaven.

If you have a look in the background, someone is holding a sign that states "RELIGIOUS FREEDOM IS CHRISTIAN TERRORISM". I don't care what your religion (or lack thereof) is but that kind of attitude shows where these people actually are in their philosophy. They are literally convinced that free will is tyranny. These are people who are literally afraid of responsibility and accountability as terrorism against themselves. There's no possibility of rational discussion with people who think like that. Unfortunately, they are being encouraged by people who think it somehow is politically beneficial to them.
