Somebody should have yelled "FIRE". It would have been constitutionally acceptable then and the wolf might have been shelled with artillery, which could have saved countless lives - or at least one or two.

The main thing is to make sure that nobody, including Party™ members, knows what's going on or knows what The Party's™ policies are. The more confused everybody is, the easier it will be to convince them that The Party™ is the only Solution™. The Voters™ don't deserve to know. This is our strategy, comrades.
