I stopped donating to MIT when they started non-stop pitches for gullible worming. Absolute who-res to government grants, so they claim whatever research they wanted to do anyway is somehow related to 'green' fields.
Science (the real kind, not the Fauci kind) is about proving or disproving theory. it does not tolerate 'consensus' because consensus is OPINION, not science.
My graduation speaker was Lee Iacocca, who would be denounced as an evil capitalist today. I missed his presentation because I was working that day. My diploma was mailed to my parents, who cared much more about it than I did. It remains the only thing I have ever purchased with MIT printed on it.
