When I lived in Berlin (before the wall came down), there was a joke that if the Soviets ever invaded, they'd soon bog down from all the refrigerators, ovens and flush toilets strapped to their tanks.

Now the joke is a reality.

Fun fact:

The closest to the Ukrainian pronunciation of Kyiv is the English word "cave." As in "man-cave." Just say "cave" and you'll pass for a local. (Imagining the two balls over the "ï" is suggested but not required).

The sunken Russian flagship Moskva is now a fish tank decoration. Capitalism will swallow, digest, and crap out its foes, and make money off of it in the process. More fun than the state-run planned socialist manufacturing.

Russia cancels the Beatles: In Sochi, Russia (2014 Olympics) the City Council retaliated against the West & NATO by whiting out a Beatles mural. The plan is to replace the Fab Four with the faces of Russian war heroes from an old Soviet propaganda movie, The Young Guard.

On the other hand, this would make a great cover for a new "White Album, remastered."
