Information and disinformation are much more useful to us. Misinformation implies a misinformer and this implies bad actors and conspiracies. It points blame and keeps everyone agitated. This is sane and healthy.

Why a DGB or anything like it violates the Constitution:
Amendment 1
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Abridging is the key word, and the DGB's only raison d'être is to abridge.
