The "controversy" surrounding Barry Sotero's Birth Certificate was created by Obama himself, and was an absolutely BRILLIANT political move.
Barry really was born in Hawaii. He kept the Born-in-Kenya nonsense going by intentionally being evasive, and eventually releasing what was a fundamentally correct (but intentionally made to look fake) Birth Certificate.
This allowed him to deflect any questions or criticisms of his past as "Birther Nonsense", including all his missing academic records, the possibility that he may have received favorable treatment and financial aid as a fraudulent "foreign student" (he was once lauded as a 'young Kenyan writer'), and many other things about his past he wanted to keep hidden.
The biggest thing he was hiding is that his mother's husband was his father in name only - his real father was Frank Marshall Davis, the so-called "poet" and "community organizer" that Obama cites as a "mentor". Davis was also a pornographer and a big shot with the Communist Party USA. Supposedly he financed Barry's education, too.
Yep - the Obama Birth Certificate nonsense was all about Barry himself. It has helped marginalize his political enemies and ensure that any attempt to reveal the real truth is dismissed or ignored.

I could not agree more. The American people became lazy and expected the political class to take care of things rather than we doing our civic duty and keeping an eye on them. The federal government needs to go on an austerity program and we need to beat the drums on that issue. It's too large and it's power needs to be diminished in order tp preserve liberty.
