Gallup has an astonishing new poll out today showing that on a generic congressional ballot, likely voters prefer a Republican to a Democrat 50-45. Among registered voters, Democrats enjoy a 48-45 advantage, yet that's still dramatically down from the double-digit advantage for most of this year.

Gallup writes:

If these numbers are sustained through Election Day -- a big if -- Republicans could be expected to regain control of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Well, the GOP isn't about to bust out the champagne just yet, as so far this poll is the only one in theRCP Average for the generic congressional vote that shows Republicans in the lead. Still, Republicans have closed the gap to just 3.6 points.

Though these "polls" may look troubling, remember that they are part of the VRWC to demoralize the Democrat party and deceive the proles and unwashed masses.

Chairman Mao's "four balls" line reminds me of little joke Stalin used to tell at the start of every Politburo meeting: Ivan was unluckiest worker in the world; every bet he every made, he lost. One day, Ivan is getting checkup at People's free healthcare clinic when comrade doctor tells him, "Ivan, you have three testicles!" Ivan sees chance to finally change luck. He goes to favorite tavern, downs glass of vodka and announces to fellow workers, "Comrades, luck has changed for me! I have sure fire winning wager!" Comrades all chuckles and pull out their rubles to bet against unlucky Ivan, but bartender not so sure. He sees a chance to make big score and asks Ivan, "Are you sure you have surefire win, Comrade Ivan?" Ivan says, "Absolut! No Problemsky!" Bartender agrees to go in and bet with Ivan against crowd. Now Ivan makes his move: "Comrades, I bet all of you that between me and Comrade bartender here, we have five testicles!" Bartender is enraged, pulls Ivan aside and says, "You idiot! You had better have FOUR of them!"

Of course, when Stalin told it, everybody laughed. For hours. Until were told to stop.
