Senator Michael Bennet (D-CO), has introduced the Digital Platform Commission Act (DPCA). In his words, the proposed act would “create an expert federal body empowered to provide comprehensive, sector-specific regulation of digital platforms to protect consumers, promote competition, and defend the public interest."
You may read that as "further bloat the federal government with a clique of hand-picked leftist radicals empowered to impose indiscriminate tyranny on uncooperative conservative digital platforms, blind and mislead consumers, promote stagnation, and defend destructive Democrat agenda policies."
Naturally, since we know that Democrats never have good intentions toward (hate) the American people, we can be assured that it's yet another wolf in sheep's clothing designed to undermine our Constitutionally guaranteed rights and freedoms and bring about the GWONT before the 2024 elections.
What part of "Congress shall make no law...abridging the freedom of speech" do Democrats not understand? It doesn't matter to them: as usual, they're proceeding as if the Constitution doesn't exist.
