Ah, yes. I added all of those classics to my "Labor Day" folder last year (for academic and cultural preservation purposes of course).

But what are you doing this year (besides recovering from a hurricane)?

I will be laboring this Labor Day weekend like a good Stakhanovite. I'm so far behind on instruction and lesson plans due to our mandatory much appreciated Diversity, Inclusion, Equity (DIE) reeducation professional development.

Wow it’s like the administration is spending too much time on one subject. Just think Comrade Kim Jung Fun, the administration just spent 3/4th entire budget on something other than the only reason schools exist. It’s crazy appropriation of culture, comrade.

I find it rather interesting that the latest incursion into madness uses the acronym DIE, which I find rather revealing that they chose to use such a word that is used to describe or identify death. It does seem rather fitting.....

Unlike last year with Hurricane Ian, there hasn't been much destruction in my area. Other areas weren't so lucky.

We still received mandatory evacuation orders. I complied and spent two days in the decadent bourgeois luxury of the Comfort Barn motel located further inland. Hurricane Idalia passed us in the morning, and here's a view from my window in the evening of that day. There's no city in that direction to color the sky like that, just fields and cow pastures. It's the setting sun lighting up the leftover hurricane clouds.

we have been very busy here at the morgue, so today, we are working overtime to insure a victory for Comrade Obama's fourth te.. Biden's second term. The polling numbers don't look good, but as we all know, dead Democrats are one of our most reliable voting blocs. There is much work to be done if we are to fundamentally transform AmeriKKKa. Working overtime here and awaiting the next beet ration.
