The People's Cube - Political Satire

Comrades, on condition that it's unbudgeted, this idea from Scott Adams is so good that I made a department seal for it.


To quote from the attached story:

"[The Department of Imaginary Concerns] could handle Democrat worries about things like climate change panic, Trump taking away democracy, Russia collusion, the Signal controversy, Elon Musk stealing people’s Social Security numbers and more...

Comrades, this concept—if unbudgeted—may be good for the USSA, but any similar department here at The People's Cube would be antithetical to our mission to present the warts-and -all beauty of The Current Truth™ .

We encourage all comrades to freely to express imaginary concerns. It's easier to spot the hooligans among us that way.

It'd be funny if it wasn't so close to the truth. Then again, yeah it's pretty damn funny.....

I have mixed feelings about the Fasces being on there. On the one hand, a symbol (that they co-opted and corrupted from Rome, et al) of Italian fascism.

On the other hand, I used to wear that insignia....

In it's root meaning, the idea that singly we are weak, and bound together we are strong. Overall a good thing, unlike any of the other symbols on there. Most people won't even recognize what it is.

I too was surprised to see the Fasces...as I too wore it with pride "droit et avant!"  At any formal dinner or other "mandatory fun night" on post, there was always the one table at the far back of the room, farthest away from the head table, and usually to the left side of the seating area, where the Surgeon, the Chaplain, and either the Veterinarian or the Staff Judge Advocate (that was always a toss-up) and their poor wives were left to sit with the Inspector General and his poor wife...Indeed those were tables full of personality and wit.



This country needs a little more fasces (when the correct party is administering it) no?  The whole concept of "unity" breeds conspiracy and malcontent with status quo, up to and until arrival at the Gulag, where it then might mean a way to stay warm through the night (unless you're on the outer ring).

There are two fasces on the wall behind the dais in the U.S. House of Representatives. They allude to unity of the U.S. and have been there long before Mussolini.

Unfortunately, the Left frequently accuse the right of being fascist and have done for many years in a nakedly childish "I'm rubber, you're glue" effort to deflect from their own fascism.



The gulag meaning of unity is learned the moment a new criminal drops his soap in the shower if there is a shower and if there is any soap.

But, if Political Grams resists the Criminal’s soap interlude, that’s a crime against the State.


Fasces aside, like where’s Trump’s Handmaiden rape camps on the seal? Are you deliberately trying to make the jackalope believe they aren’t a concern? And, where’s the Unicorn’s ice cream producing sh*t? Are you saying, “No desert for Politicals, tonight”? The seemingly imaginary torture never stops….in the gulag.

You are right, Comrade, and when enough are right, there will be nothing Left to prevent the return of Adams.

He un-cancelled himself.  He's behind a paywall now.  One of the few I actually pay money to (I think it's $70 a year).  Usually I just steal  borrow paywall content.  Well worth the price.  It includes a podcast that I don't listen to/watch.  You get a new daily Dilbert (spicier, as they say), and old Dilbert from 10 years ago,  plus Robots Read the News.  RRN is veeery spicy -- people complained the that robot was male.  He added a cohost - Blowella, the sex robot.  Just a little FU to the wokesters. 

I'd bet he makes waaay more kopeks that way than before being cancelled.
 

I knew he was behind a paywall, but I didn't know all the rest, Comrade. I'm just thinking from the selfish point of view of Dilbert being free* again and also from the larger view of him influencing more people when Dilbert was in every newspaper.  When Dilbert starting throwing shade at the Global Warming Hoax was when he had to be destroyed, but that was one of the few mainstream voices actually saying that at the time and it mighta got some folks questioning the official narrative.

*Free Dilbert!  No justice no piece! (or "peace"... if you're a hippy)
