As President Trump's tariffs disrupt the world economy, The People's Cube has compiled a comprehensive list of the items you will see impacted if this devastating trade war with China continues.  Hopefully, everyday Americans will continue to put the pressure on the Trump regime to stop this needless trade war and return us to the New (Old) World Order.

1. Gift bags from kid's parties
All the little bags of cheap plastic goodies handed out after the cake and ice cream has been served.  The silver lining is American landfills should see a 4-5% drop in volume if this continues.

2. Fentanyl
Through a combination of reduced supply and more expensive transportation costs, dealers and addicts report fentanyl costs have skyrocketed since January, 2025.  The mainstream media has been surprisingly silent about this unfolding catastrophe.

3. Hand tools you get from your in-laws
These look similar to the name brand tools but the logo is a slightly different color and misspelled by a letter or two.  They work fine if you are disassembling a tomato, but break if used for anything else.  Your in-laws must know this since they you get the same set every Christmas.

4. Foreign activists and spies
This has impacted all Universities, not just Ivy League schools.  There are probably plans to offset the loss from other countries, but so far we have not heard anything from the administration about it.

5. Baby toys and teethers
Your infant will no longer receive their daily dose of lead from chew toys.  Parents will be forced to buy supplements instead - another cost for hardworking American families.

6. Electronics
Sure, most firms are moving their electronics manufacturing to other countries, like India.  The hitch?  All those countries pay their employees.  Most economists agree that will drive the costs up.  Just more proof Trump didn't think this through very well.

7. Bribes and Kickbacks.
Bribes and kickbacks from China to various members of the government have dropped to catastrophic levels. This has actually increased our trade deficit with China as these not insignificant sums of money are not flowing back to the US.

Oh I missed that one. I guess the list isn't as comprehensive as I thought.

Good hammer, good nail, good observation.

You hit the nail on the head, Comrade Margaret.

I found six useless items not necessarily impacted by Trump's effort to bring fairness to world trade trade war:

UselssT1.jpg
Cyclops sunglasses

UselssT2.jpg
Self-watering plant sprinkler

UselssT3.jpg
Apathetic shredder

UselssT4.jpg
Overly modded pocket pistol (good luck finding a holster for it)

UselssT5.jpg
Bull bras

UselssT6.jpg
Totally worthless politician

Some of them are available at budget "dollar" stores or Wal-Mart. Most are available through dozens of Chinese ghost sites on Amazon (be sure to choose only "extra large" for clothing).

Sunglasses. Try searching Amazon for sunglass and see.

It's like pants: you can't by a pant if you have one leg, you have to buy pants and roll up the vacant part.

As a retiree and hobbyist, I surf eBay, but don't buy many new kits anymore, I kinda like the challenge of older model kits and get most from eBay. I've noticed an interesting trend.

Long ago, major US kit manufactures went bankrupt or moved out. Recently, some of the more popular kits come from China, The short term results can be seen in these two screen shots:

Note the "shipping costs" of the Hobby Boss kit.

I'd be satisfied to get stuff from the former Eastern Bloc countries and let DJT slap Xi around until he capitulates...
