Everything in the public health, nothing outside the public health, nothing against the public health.
On the importance of public health.
Our public health is facing challenges like never before. It began simply enough. It was just a few common symptoms. Deadly disease usually begins so. It gets misdiagnosed. Treatments are ineffective. Healthcare seems to prove inadequate to the patient. The public healthcare official is baffled. The new disease spreads. And the patient dies.
As with the personal so with the social. Our body (and by this I mean our body social) is under attack by a vicious disease. It is a very ugly disease that attacks every organ of our social body. I'm talking today about the private army of the President of the United States that he has sent into our communities to attack like a plague bacillus each and every organ of our social body that makes possible our life. Our life is being attacked.
But thankfully I have been tasked with the Public Health. As Commissar of Public Health I have prescribed the treatment needed for full recovery. The prescribed treatment is like a penicillin, it is the antibodies our social body needs. It attacks the disease without let-up.
While most treatments, such as the grassroots protests, were treating the symptoms and not the disease itself this and others I've devised should prove effective.
Just think what we'll be able to accomplish Next Tuesday when we finally have nationalized healthcare.
Public health is your health. If we are to achieve Next Tuesday we must think of it as the body that needs protecting; our body, our health.
