The People's Cube - Political Satire

I've been thinking perhaps it is time for People's to demonstrate against global warming climate change demonstrating our solidarity with socialist communists bent on wrecking western economies environmental ecologists across the planet.

Looking for something fittingly fruitless. Something pathetic demonstrating it is all about symbolism over substance.

We could advertise it across the net. Maybe Al Gore would fly in on his Gulf Stream to give a speech?

How about this? Imagine the impact if at 9:00 PM EDT on June 10, 2009 ten thousand People's Cube People's lit a capitalist birthday candles giving off carbon dioxide. Then, at exactly 9:03 PM EDT, we blew the candles out in unison putting an immediate stop to carbon pollution!

We could call it the People's "going green" moment!

Ok comrades, I admit it, I don't care what it is about I just want to engage in something really pointless. Something along the lines of the childcare's channel Nickelodeon did when they urged their viewers to turn off television for 30 seconds.

We could have done this to celebrate earth day yet let it slip though our fingers.

But then I suppose we could demonstrate against the sinking of the Lusitania in front of the German embassy too.

Any ideas?

We've already protested emissions of the corrosive greenhouse gas Di hydrogen Monoxide. I like to think that just posting to the Cube is a form of pointless activism.

Say, you know there is a plant species under constant attack by the capitalist big pharma. I speak of course of the humble athlete's foot fungus and it's feminine itch cousin. And what of the endangered malarial mosquito? And what has become of small pox? Why are we so obsessed with wiping out nature's wondrous diversity of microbes?

I propose we do something like this in front of the White House to demonstrate our support for Chairman O.

I say the collective should sue on behalf of the downtrodden troddendown who were denied their KFC/Oprah entitlement nourishment and the failure of KFC/Oprah capitalist cabal to deliver this entitlement.

Hummmm if it does not make us Made Progressives any Money why should we demonstrate against anything. Perhaps we could shake down some Retuglikkans.......

Comrade Red Star, perhaps I can help. In true Revolutionary fashion, the People's Red Guard(TM) of course engages in the redistribution of wealth from our sworn class enemies. Perhaps we should protest Beverly Hills? After all, all those rich people living in large expensive mansions while some poor drug addict with an oppressive criminal record live in a cardboard box just miles away.

If we protest AGAINST something, except evil corporatist and their profits, we are unequal to our comrades. Is this what you want as a progressive?
