So what happens next?
The Democrats appear to be having a nervous breakdown over the angry display of voter resistance. A smart politician would see the writing on the wall and backoff. I don't think Obama's ego will allow him to swallow his pride and announce that "America isn't ready for Universal Health Care at this time".
Of course, Obama's cronies may force him to let the bill be tabled for the foreseeable future, maybe take it up again next year and this time be more clever in how it's presented. That would be a humiliating blow to Obama and demonstrate to him and everyone else that he isn't all powerful.
The Democrats have a filibuster proof majority. They don't need a single Republican vote in the Senate. But it's unlikely the blue dogs will go along with this no matter how watered down the bill is. Conversely, the radical Leftists in Congress already informed Pelosi that they won't support any watered down version.
So it doesn't look like the Dems have the votes within their own ranks to pass this bill. But there is now talk that Harry Reid might pull a trick and use the "Reconciliation rule" to pass the bill with only 51 votes instead of the 60 votes normally needed. This would be unconstitutional since Reconciliation is only supposed to be used for budget bills.
And what would the already angry public do if the Democrats stoop to parliamentary trickery to cram this down our throats? Civil unrest would erupt across the land. The remainder of Obama's term would be spent trying to put down a virtual rebellion in the streets. He might even try to declare martial law if violence ensues. Governors might refuse to let their Nat. Guard troops turn out. What then Obama? You gonna send Federal Agents to arrest State Governors? Would the State Police do their duty and defend their Governor? Picture FBI goons facing down State Troopers outside the State Capital building.
What if he does do the right thing and backoff his radical agenda?
Would that restore order now that the people have seen that their new found courage can force the Messiah to retreat? Or would they become even more vocal in demanding the Stimulus package be rolled back and control of the auto industry and banks be returned to civilian control?
Obama has fucked up bigtime and there is no going back. No matter what he does the people will be there shouting him and his cronies down. He's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.

On Sept. 11th, a solemn day of mourning, Obama plans to announce the institution of mandatory gov. service for all school aged kids. He plans to create his private army of conscript kiddies under the control of ACORN and SEIU thugs. What will parentsdo? Let their kids be marched off to 2 weeks of mandatory bootcamp as Rahm Emmanuel has already described it?
