I just knew Dear Leader was speaking in code just to us when he once said: "Cuba, Iran, Venezuela, these are tiny countries, they are no threat to us."

Happy Kwanzaa, people! We're on its third day, after all.

What, you're not celebrating a crackpot holiday started by a Marxist felon (Ron Karenga) in the 1960s? Okay, okay – you got me: the only people who in fact celebrate Kwanzaa are white college professors, the entire MSNBC staff, and Gary Coleman.

Still, the Obamas sent out a proclamation extending their “warmest thoughts and wishes” to the virtually non-existent percentage of Americans who have replaced Christmas with Kwanzaa.

The Obamas, though, got their greatest joy by claiming that Kwanzaa's principles of “collective work and responsibility” along with “cooperative economics” are some of the values that “make us Americans.” (A stanza they no doubt remember from a Rev. Wright sermon.)
