About 500 union members and supporters rallied Saturday morning in protest of Gov. Scott Walker's plan to strip public employee unions of most of their rights.
The gathering was organized by the Wisconsin Local Federation of Cheese Baggers to voice their solidarity with Wisconsin's public employees. "I'm so proud that our union is also standing in full support of our public worker union brothers and sisters", said Ned Cheddar head of Cheese Bagger Union local 1347, "No matter how you slice it this an assault on all unions!"
The sign-carrying crowd gathered together at 10 a.m. showing complete civility and respect for those that disagree with their position. The crowd gathering was slated to start at 9:00 a.m but was delayed as the black magic markers for the Hitler mustaches had not arrived in time . After an hour of showing their true colors to passing motorists, the Cheese Bagger's marched to the County Government Center for a rally.
"We cannot be silent in the wake of this attack by the Governor on the public worker's unions", said George Limburger longtime Cheese Bagger union member "it just stinks as to what he's doing".
