Dried blood caked seats in the stadium where fans of the hometown Al-Masry club stormed the field following the team's 3-1 win over Cairo's Al-Ahly club. Rival fans battled one another with rocks and chairs, while witnesses said many of the Al-Masry fans carried knives and sticks. Many of the dead suffocated in a crush as fans tried to flee the stadium, only to find a locked steel gate blocking their escape, survivors said.

As a supporter of the people, I understand and am sympathetic to all mob mentality. What would cause a riot at a soccer game bewilders me somewhat. Possibly boredom drives the crowd to insanity.

Comrade Comrade, it is clear to me that both our Mooslim brothers and our Socialist brothers worldwide have a much more realistic and appropriate view of the value of human life than, say, Rethuglikkkans, Teabaggers, and Christians.
In fact, this is enabling our aforementioned brothers across the world to more easily do their part - nay, MORE than their fair part - in slowing the insane growth of the world's population!
If only we in the USSA were as wise. But by Next Tuesday we will be!!

Regretfully, some readers are jumping to conclusions and spreading vicious lies about our Mooslim allies. The truth is that the Al-Ahly club immediately recognized their loss was due to Zionist manipulation and, therefore, were not able to control their fully justifiable rage.

Well, of COURSE it's due to Zionist manipulation and, well, Bush. But that doesn't stop our brothers from seizing an opportunity when it presents itself!!

Flat Fatima. Are international photo journalists once again using cardboard cutouts to embellish their reportage?

I'm in need of guidance, comrades. I know, as a good Progressive, I am to sympathize with criminals, rioters, and Mooselimes, all the while telling their so-called "victims" that they shouldn't judge those poor misunderstood people, and that they're being racist/sexist/bigoted for not wanting their stuff stolen/their faces bashed in/ the building they're in to be blown up. I get that. But the picture above confuses me, inasmuch as my Doublethink fuse appears to be blown today. It seems to put rioting in a somewhat negative light. Are we to disapprove of mob mentality that kills 70 people? Am I being hateful and judgmental for even THINKING that the picture possibly puts rioting in a negative light? Am I racist for not wanting to ever be in the middle of a Mooselime mob? Oh, the angst!

Dear John,
I believe your problem lies in trying to think. Thinking is never a good thing in Progressive society. Thinking must be left to elites with degrees from Progressive institutions and even those are limited to card carrying Party Approved Thought Creators.
Please refrain from thinking in the future.

Thank you for the wise wisdom of your wisdomness, Comrade Comrade. My head feels much better now that I'm just "feeling" again instead of trying to think.

You are a fast learner, Comrade Lenin. Feelings are the only reliable source of personal inspiration for the proletariat when lacking a direct communication from the Party.
