Comrades, as we prepare to do battle with the forces of evil that seek to destroy all the wonderful progress President Obama has made over the past 3 1/2 years, our good friends at Unfair Campaign.org have come up with a simple, concise reminder of what we're up against:
It's true! I was talking to a white person who has been unemployed for quite a while and was about to fall out of the labor force (as defined by the BLS) - this poor misguided fellow refused to believe that the unemployment rate for January was DOWN to 8.3%. He thought it could not be true because he had been looking for a job for four years and was unable to find one (it's always about them, isn't it?) This person refused to see the real reason for his disbelief was raaaaacism, becuase it's just so hard to see racism when you're white. But it's there, and this man is proof.
Last week, I was talking to this woman who was busily trying to put out the fire in her Chevy Volt which had been in a minor accident a few weeks ago. She claimed that the government should have informed her of the alleged "fire problem" with Volts but it failed to do so, can you imagine that? Of course, she was white and it was so hard for her to see the raaaaacism at the root of her problem, although the smoke from the fire may have something to do with that, too. But it was mostly because it's just so damn hard to see racism when you're white.
What about YOU, comrade? Look over there, to your left! Do you see raaaaacism there? If not, are you white? If so, that explains it; it's so hard for you to see it when you're white. But it's all so simple when I point out the obvious to you, isn't it? Of course it is.
Comrades, here's what our friends at UnfairCampaign.org have to say about the matter:
I don't need to tell you that we, as a Party, are serious about finding raaaaacism everywhere it hides, whether it's actually there when we look or not (and what better way is there to hide than to not be there when we look? This would suggest that absence of raaaaacism is absolute proof of it!) We Party elites are part of the problem when we don't look hard enough and find all of the raaaaacism, and we must be part of the solution by endeavoring to find it even when it's hiding by not being there. And, of course, it is our duty as morally superior beings to point out to the whites who find their raaaaacism so hard to see just where their raaaaacism they are not seeing actually is. Like in not voting for and giving money to Barack Obama, and blaming Barack Obama for George Bush's mistakes and not appreciating Barack Obama's brilliance, etc, etc. But most of all, we must encourage a community dialog about raaaaacism, meaning we talk and they listen. After all, it takes TWO to make a dialog.
See it. Know it. Stop it. Fuck it.

Comrades, here's what our friends at UnfairCampaign.org have to say about the matter:
Racism is an issue that we don't like talking about. The Un-Fair Campaign was developed to look at racism and to encourage a community dialogue about the causes and solutions.
Racism is a complex social issue and depending upon what you see as the causes of racism you have ideas about the solutions.
We invite you to spend time on this website and to ask yourself how you may be part of the problem as well as part of the solution.
See it. Know it. Stop it.
