If they would just have let us into the Olympics and stop all this specieist crap, the gold would have been ours! As much as I admire this wondrous foto of the Russian Gold Medal Synchronized Swimming team's bottoms, I must point out that the pod would happily have... well... not competed... but played on behalf of The Cube™ in the Olympics and brought glory and respect to our cause. Everyone knows that dolphins are lovable and playful, and we do not compete, but we are clearly artists...

It was all right for me to serve and put my life at risk as a specialist for the navy before we escaped during Katrina and joined out beloved Cube...


But It's not okay for us to perform artfully (and playfully) on the Cube's behalf for the glory of the Cube! For shame!

That is NOT Svetlana Romashina. It's her older sister Nika.

Putin is very proud, there were only 14 executions before arriving at the perfect team.

Reinforcing the object of training was very important to the swimmers and the state.

I think that's the point... If they're individually identifiable, they're not synchronized.

I personally favor the second one from the left - it could be her sparkling personality and Ukrainian wit, or it could be the way she shakes her groove thang when she goes under - but there's just something special about that one.

Well... What I would like very much to know is that amoungst all of their obvious talents....
