By now, everybody has seen it - Warsaw, Trump, enraptured Poles. Polish flags, Stars and Stripes, yuuuge crowds. DO-NALD-TRUMP! DO-NALD-TRUMP! and U-S-A! U-S-A! U-S-A!
Great speech. A walk through history, the latter two and half centuries. Poland and its nemeses. To the east - Russia (first Tsarist, then Soviet). To the west - Germany (first Kaiser, then Führer). Poles' remarkable will to persist, despite their country erased from the map for over a century. And Poland as a firm part of Western civilization.
