True story about women's voices in the ears of the men/boys who love them.

Back in 80's when 'pelipsky was young professional middle school remedial reading teacher, many of the 7th grade boys were smitten with Miss N., 'pelipsky's tag team instructor. The murmur rumor amongst these love lorn adolescents was Miss N was meaner when she wore her ...r.e.d. shoes. (of course, they were RED.) One day 'pelipsky overheard a particularly smitten student of Miss. N's gracious discipline... go completely do-lolly after receiving his discipline for the day, dreamily walking out of the classroom speaking to no one in particular, "I just LOVE the sound of her voice."

'pelipsky noted this moment of 7th grade euphoria.

Years later, while monitoring a certain right wing extremist propaganda radio show, a SCIENTIFIC report at tax payer expense concluded that when men are in l.o.v.e. the voice of their beloved is actually heard as music. Which led to further conclusions that it's not that husbands don't listen to what their wives are telling them, they are putty brained due to hearing only the melodic la-la-la-la and incapable of hearing the lyrics being relayed.

This research clearly supported 'pelipsky's prior observation.

This scientific documentation may be just the ticket to get any beet tending husband accused of not listening to his wife out of gulag free.
