Fun fact regarding Yul Brynner (some people asked me on Facebook).

He was born in the Far East of Russia (near China), spoke Russian, and had a Russian mother who brought him up. His father was also born there, but he was a product of a marriage between a Swiss doctor and a Tuva woman (Tuva is related to Mongolia). Yul's mother fled the communist revolution and took him as a kid to China, then some years later to France, then he grew up and came to Hollywood. The rest is history.
