Comrades, the People's revolution has been given broad new powers over the forces of evil and the opponents of progress. I am, of course, speaking about today's People's Supreme Court ruling finding that our wonderful, benevolent, cute, nice and good ObamaCare program is constitutional, as we always knew it was.
Here are some excerpts from the majority ruling written by the right-wing idiot appointed by Bush brilliant and fair Chief Justice John Roberts:
The Affordable Care Act's requirement that certain individuals pay a financial penalty for not obtaining health insurance may reasonably be characterized as a tax. Because the Constitution permits such a tax, it is not our role to forbid it, or to pass upon its wisdom or fairness.
The Federal Government does not have the power to order people to buy health insurance. Section 5000A would therefore be unconstitutional if read as a command. The Federal Government does have the power to impose a tax on those without health insurance. Section 5000A is therefore constitutional, because it can reasonably be read as a tax.

Think about what this says... We cannot require anyone to do something but we can ask them to do it and tax them if they refuse! Thus, if the people's state-owned auto company has produced a lot of Chevy Volts that the bitter clingers are too stupid to buy, we cannot require anyone to buy them but we can ask them to do so and charge them a tax if they refuse. The people's court just said so! Likewise, broccoli, bullet train tickets, Greek and Spanish government debt (we could help comrade Jon Corzine out a little bit here! Cool!) or whatever else we decide that someone needs to buy for the common good ™ as is our right by what the brilliant legal scholar John Conyers called the "Good and Welfare Clause" of the Constitution.
But, if we were to use our imaginations (as we usually do in these cases) we can see how anything we wish can be justified if we just call it a tax. As an example:
Republicans are already dancing on the grave of Solyndra, the solar panel manufacturer that received a $535 million federal loan in 2009 and collapsed...
What if instead of loaning Solyndra $535 million, we simply asked people to send money to Solyndra and charged them a tax if they did not do so?
How about:
The "Free bullets for Mexicans" tax, passed by Executive Order!
With that in mind, I am here to inform you that we are asking every American to contribute $5 to the Obama 2012 campaign immediately. We cannot force you to do so, but if you fail to comply you will be subject to a $10 tax!
Thank you Justice Roberts!
