Praying for a blessed and joyous Thanksgiving Eve and Day for all my Cubemates.
Unless you are praying to Obamessiah...
17 Even though the fig trees have no blossoms,
and there are no grapes on the vines;
even though the olive crop fails,
and the fields lie empty and barren;
even though the flocks die in the fields,
and the cattle barns are empty,
18 yet I will rejoice in the Lord!
I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!

Anyer Marx. The cornucopia of Cubists (an art form) really touched me. Because of the Cube I have found friends I never would have and even, the love of my life, Comrade Tovarich. What a perfect analogy!
Jibaro, I have been through things like this, and now most of us are about to go through some rough times, even rougher than the last 4 years. Earlier in my life, when I went through various and unexpected circumstances and betrayals, even from my family, I knew I could never lash out and foul my integrity. If I did, I knew I would lose all I had left, and would truly be lost. I refused to betray others trust of me, even though I could have. I do wonder, however, if being meaner, and more frank (I did do this, to no avail) would have gleaned better results.
In my personal experience, when one is vulnerable and helpless, the bullies come out of the woodwork. They recognize something they can now be superior to, and take it for all it's worth.
I did what you did. I gave it to my Father in the privacy of my own home without the "music of the choir" affecting me. I was amazed by it. And, during this amazement, realized nobody would believe me. I don't care. Thanks for posting this.
Dedhedvedev, This is a most stirring post of yours. I wonder why I have never heard of this. It's so passionate and loving and angry. Did Burroughs actually write this? It's stunning, no matter who wrote it. I love it! Frankly, I feel the same way! Thanks for posting!And, last but not least, my gratitude goes to our wonderful founder, Comrade Red Square, who holds us all in place.
Pardon me for ask'n, but does it look to anyone else like somebody's underneath Dear Leader's robe right behind him ?
If so, odds are it's Chris Matthews.
Pucker up, MSNBC !
I give thanks for your awareness and efforts to save all the Twinkieoids.
