This has forced Obama to travel the country trying to gin-up enthusiasm before the November elections. Opening Oct.1 is The Social Network the story of Facebook - a website created in a Harvard dorm room in 2004 that has redefined how we connect and communicate in the 21st century. It is a look at success, failure and the trappings of ego and greed. It is sure to be a hit, especially with Obama's target audience, the Yutes.
Why not make a movie about a skinny Harvard student, who in between smoking weed and hanging out with Marxist hatches a plan to fundamentally change America. You want success, failure, ego, and greed, Obama's story has all of these. I bet The Social Network's writer and fellow traveler Aaron Sorkin would be more than happy to write the script.

Don't people understand that only the rich will be taxed? And only the rich will be affected, and only the rich are his enemies? Like my landlord, who had better not raise my rent to cover those extra taxes he's going to pay, or my grocer, who had better not raise the price of my groceries to cover those extra taxes and higher health insurance premiums he will be paying, or the liquor store owner, who'd better not raise what I pay for my vodka.
