As a humble servant of The People, I take time to research the way other, more progressive nations govern their citizens. Remember, these are the countries whose opinions the US, this vile joke of a democracy, must consider when they perform on the world stage.

Hopefully, these superior European Socialist Democracies can provide us with a template for our own future progress. To wit, a couple of small examples of the Progressive agenda at work in Great Britain.

Schoolboy punished for 'having two unhealthy snacks'

A 10-year-old boy was hauled out of a school dining hall - because his packed lunch was too unhealthy. Ryan Stupples was forced to eat his lunch in the head teacher's office at Lunsford Primary School in Larkfield, Kent, because it failed to meet health guidelines.

The lunch, which included a ham sandwich, fruit, a piece of cake, a packet of mini cheese biscuits and a bottle of water, was banned because it contained two snacks.

Schoolgirl arrested for refusing to study with non-English pupils

A teenage schoolgirl was arrested by police for racism after refusing to sit with a group of Asian students because some of them did not speak English.
Codie Stott's family claim she was forced to spend three-and-a-half hours in a police cell after she was reported by her teachers.

The 14-year-old - who was released without charge - said it had been a simple matter of commonsense and accused the school and police of an over-the-top reaction.

The incident happened in the same local education authority where a ten-year-old boy was prosecuted earlier this year for calling a schoolfriend racist names in the playground, a move branded by a judge "political correctness gone mad."

Read and take heart, comrades. Not all countries are as backwards as the US is today. Soon, under the enlightened leadership of Glorious Leader HRC, we will follow this Progressive path. Forward to Revolution, comrades!

I am envious, just envious of our European Comrades who do strive so hard to build a shining progressive utopia. However; they are still a bit to liberal for my taste comrade, I would much rather see Amerika (and the whole world) adopt the North Korean model when governing righteously over the toiling masses, then and only then can we live in a world free of wealth,success,religion and rationality.

Can we roll the film of the school Massacre and Bible and Church Burnings opening of the new abortion clinics with gay wedding next door.....ooh sorry I forgot all you westerners have to do for that is turn on the evening news my Bad!!!

True, true. But European Liberalism is AT LEAST able to get things done. Here in the US, our liberals had the chance to impose... uh, enact national hate speech laws back in the early '90s but they blew it. They could have shut down talk radio, squelched the rightism at CNBC and prevent Faux News from ever getting off the ground. Instead, they let these voices take hold and lead the mindless right wing drones right to the polls where they could steal the country away from us.

It doesn't excuse the Europeans. While WE act as the standard bearers of TRUE Socialism, the Europeans liberals represent the snivelling, opportunistic weenie version. Better than the American liberal version, which is like the drunken, slutty little sister of True Socialism. Sigh... is it 2008 yet? Well comrade Commissar, if we were to combine the San-Francisco culture with the rigid altruism and totalitarian utopia of North Korea, I believe, in theory, we would achieve something far greater than a workers paradise. No, we would in fact achieve a Socialist Nirvana, a perfect society completely untainted. It would be glorious, absolutely glorious. The progress alone would force the whole universe to submit to its egalitarian goals. It hurts my head to just think of such an intoxicating society. Ugh, I have to go lay down.

Agreed, Comrade Chairman. After considering your wisdom and taking some time to envision the society you have proposed, I too feel an overwhelming sensation of Progressive giddiness.

To illustrate how my head and stomch feel right now, imagine that your drank three quarts of Bucsh beer and ate a dozen Krystal (or White Castle) burgers. Then imagine that you went to a fair in 100 degree heat and rode the Gravitron for an hour, nonstop. While riding, you are able to clearly smell both the PortaPotties and a garbage dumpster. Can you imagine how incredible you would feel in that situation? That's exactly the way I feel after contemplating the Socialist Nirvana you have described. Oooops! Be right back. There's Revolution in my stomach and my dinner is staging a Liberation Movement!
