Diaper Gap Threatens America

Many historians believe John F. Kennedy invented the term “Missile Gap” in 1958 as part of the ongoing election campaign. They claim the phrase was chosen to highlight Kennedy's assertion that Eisenhower's defense posture was dangerously weak.

Nearly 60 years later an email from the Obama White House may signal the resumption of Kennedy's early cold war election strategy in the form of a "Diaper Gap";

Investors Business Daily:

An official White House email alerts the public that while diapers “are basic necessities … nearly one in three families struggle to afford them for their babies.” These families, the email says, are forced to choose among food, heat and diapers. “That's a choice no family should have to make.”

The email directed recipients to a White House Web page — Also known as The Diaper Divide — wherein Cecilia Munoz, director of the White House Domestic Policy Council, laments that while the lucky few can buy diapers by the truckload at Costco or order them for cheap on Amazon, “the benefits of the new economy aren't available to all Americans.”

And, shock and horror, there is “no federal assistance for purchasing diapers.”
NOTE: This reporter will be in his "Safe Space" recovering from trauma inflicted upon him by this disturbing news.

A strategic diaper reserve must be created immediately, to help in defending the many politically Korrekt safe spaces.

Woah comrade Red Square! What happened to your post?

One in three families. No doubt they've discovered this knowledge using proportional analysis.

Diapers? How decadent has the capitalist West has become? The only basic necessity and a human right that a true socialist government recognizes and guarantees is the right to a shovel!

Didn't the Second Amendment to the USSR Constitution guarantee a right to bear shovels?

We must model the USSA Constitution on that.

I posted a very long comment that I quickly deleted because I decided to turn into a separate topic, to be posted soon. It will be called Help us create the perfect Human Rights formula. Stay tuned.

Comrade Fhalkyn,

What "post" are you and Minitrue talking about?

What the hell are you talking about, this "minitrue"!? I thought there was only the Current Truth and that the Stasi enforced it. This "minitrue" is a product of the English imperialist George Orwell, and all imperialists should be denounced, especially English ones, for England had the largest oppressive empire.

Dear Comrade stierlitz,The Ministry of Truth is no longer English, I can assure you, but based on the European continent. I am very confident the Kurrent Truth ™ is the basis of our policy. Feel free to point me to any mistakes in Korrektness, so ik can be reprocessed and re-educated where needed.

As to George Orwell, he was indeed a vile product of English oppression, writing naughty books about glorious and perfect political systems that have no flaws at all.

Yours in Mind Control,Minitrue

I have expanded that long comment into a full-fledged ironic essay about why socialists need capitalism. It is due to appear tomorrow morning in the American Thinker. Then I'll post it on the Cube, too. Stay tuned!

It's in the American Thinker now -

Why socialists need capitalism
Life, liberty, and the pursuit of disposable baby diapers

Will soon post it on the Cube.

Great, great, great, great, great!

I came across a BBC Four documentary titled "Children of Chernobyl". If you want to see truly "free" healthcare and become even more disgusted of the Soviet Union, I recommend watching this film. I'd also like to see every aspiring young communist to see it, to see what their pride and joy truly produces. Not the fantasies of shiny things for all, but the reality of shiny things for the government, and dirty things for everyone else. And to see that not everybody is happy and free to pursue pot smoking and sitar playing under Communism, that they have to work so that they won't be punished and commit theft in the government's eyes just so they can live.

Obama's "you didn't build that" is a perfect illustration of the Socialist & Communist scheme. Get the Capitalists to build the infrastructure, the houses, the stores, the equipment, etc, and then sweep the rug out from under them, claim those creations of Capitalism as yours, and furthermore declare them to be Glorious Socialist-Created Kollektivist-Built Products of Communism. And there's a reason why this is so, and that's because Socialism & Communism can't create, they can only destroy. Just look to their inventions. Many products were cheap copies of American ones that spies had gathered intelligence on. They eventually got so good at imitating America that they managed to make a clone of the Space Shuttle called the Buran.

The luxury of supporting socialism is paid for by the effort of capitalism. Socialists who wish to "cast off their chains" are like a hospital patient wishing to cast off the IV drip and various devices that keep them alive.

I believe that the government secretly wants to give everything away for free. It just makes the population more dependent of the government so that they can be controlled more easily. "Hey you! Don't say anything bad about the President or you get no power for a week!" It's just that they need the disguise of "human rights" so that their causes can seem noble rather than nefarious.
