It's funny. In America, our last decade has been one with a right wing party, one of liberty, and so forth. It's only now that we elect a basically socialist president. The UK has been there and is back with a cup of coffee. The UK has been run by self described socialists for the last 15 years. They know what socialism is. They've seen what it can do, like many of our former Soviet Comrades who frequent this site(albeit the socialism was on a smaller scale in the UK.)have come to despise it. In yesterday's election, the Conservatives beat the Labour, with 306 seats ad opposed to Labour's 258. Although short of a majority, I'm wondering if our president gets the idea. The message that this is still a democracy, and he still can be booted in 2012.
I DENOUNCE the pigs in the UK! Right when the People's Socialism was working! And these Labour parties, haven't the heard what ACORN is? How can the Progressive World of Next Tuesday ™ happen in England when the dead are unrepresented!
Fraulein PulloskiesDid the reich's Conservative party win?
The Conservatives won... kind of. They have the most seats in Parliment by quite a bit, but, because in Britain, there are many major political parties, they don't have the absolute majority needed to start a government. What's probably going to happen is that the Conservatives will form an alliance with the Liberal Democrats( comparable in ideology to our Blue Dogs), giving them a slightly watered down Conservative rule.

What glorious news, since we all know "blue dogs" is just code speak for liberals attached to Nanski coat tail. Socialism rules. Way to go, Brits
15 years of socialism? I think that's being generous. The National Health was started in 1948. The problem is that folks on the right believe in law and order, folks on the left only believe in winning at any cost. So they infiltrate every institution they can find and start warping things their way. Look at our re-education camps, er "University System", churning out mindless little party drones, that then become grade school teachers and journalists - influencing many more. It is just like the USSR: the problem isn't so much the government, as "The Party" in our case: Dems. The two party system works as long as both side respect the rules of the game: voting laws and all that. Dems don't follow any of that. Look at the George Soros' Secretary of State Project, for instance, and a thousand other small examples: The American Library Association, AARP, Sierra Club, the list goes on and on. They've gone from being little groups interested in their specialty to another organ of The Party. They bully, smear, spread lies and propaganda, all in the name of the Common Good. So... while conservatives may have partially won this round in the UK, the greater war is being lost as more and more people either become dependent on the State or just bullied into submission.
That is unfortunate news! Hopefully the Social Democrats will regroup and come back next election.
