You know, the 2nd Amendment is not what gives us "gun rights". Every person has a natural right to keep their property. Guns are no different than houses or cars or Tickle-Me-Elmos.

I've begun to believe that all the bill of rights does is make us think *government* gives us, or has decided to protect, these rights. It doesn't. If you have a gun, and you didn't steal it, and haven't commited a violent crime with it such that your closest neighbors who also have guns are likely to take it away from you, no one has the right to do so. Yes. Which is why any "repeal" or "rewrite" or whatever of the 2nd Amendment would be moot - the founders understood that such things are gifts from God and only enumerated them to make sure that people - particularly the government - understood that they weren't to be messed with.

This is a complex situation. Comrade Carrey is correct to urge support for repeal of the Second Amendment. All true People's Democratic Socialist Republics have recognized that private ownership of everything, especially firearms, must be banned.

Thus I must commend Comrade Carrey. However, with ObamaCare soon to be implemented, I had been looking forward to having him reassigned to a more suitable career, perhaps as a CNN announcer, as I am consistently left constipated by his cinematographic antics and thus view him as a danger to national health in his role as alleged "funny" "man."
