Competition is a barbaric, insensitive ritual that reeks of social Darwinism. We cannot allow the fittest to survive on our pages. Your loss is someone else's gain, and your gain is someone else's loss. Therefore, losers contribute to the society and winners take away from it. Being a winner is unethical, while a society of losers is happy and striving as a collective. In the spirit of diversity, inclusiveness, and collectivism our contests shall have no winners. Everyone is declared a loser, which in our book means an ethical team player.

In order to assist with the subjugation/assimilation of our soon to be liberated workforce, we should engage in creative expression of our devotion to the Cause.

I propose we achieve this end with the use of Haiku!

We will convert this erstwhile Imperialistic exploitation of 5-7-5 syllabic poetry into a shining new example of our solidarity against the Bloated Pigs of the Establishment!

Observe with Wonderment:

Obama Doctrine
Appeasement and A Blind Eye
I feel safer now...

Oh Glorious One,
I will pay your high taxes
My family starves

Barack Elected
The Majority was heard
Mandate of Morons

The most radiant act of selfless poetry will be rewarded by the State in it's benevolent wisdom. The Poet shall be issued a life-partnership with Ustinka...

A while ago I prepared an editorial with a collection of Party-prescribed progressive haikus that I wrote. I never posted it because of the more pressing issues during the heated election. And after the election the situation changed so drastically that the editorial needed to be revised and I never got to doing that. Perhaps after the holidays.

However, my haikus didn't follow the 5-7-5 rule. That's bourgeois formalism! Rather they conveyed the spirit of haikus!

Every Rorschach inkblot
looks like George Bush with horns.
Psychiatric evaluations are torture!

I opened at random
a copy of the New York Times.
The income gap is deepening.

A giant SUV:
one gallon, two gallon, three gallons -
Why is Bush still in power?

Obama Savior
Will redistribute the wealth
Bring equality

The rich will suffer
The poor will dance in the street
Hail our new leader

Socialism saves
Capitalism oppress
Await hope and change

Comrades! I figured how to position my collection of progressive anti-Bush haikus by calling them "nostalgic." I posted them here:

Feel free to post your haikus there as well. Redundancy is not a sin if it advances progress!
