WASHINGTON - PJ Media: JP Morgan's chairman, Jamie Dimon, has announced a new education initiative to offset a portion of the ill-gotten gains recently stolen by his banking empire. Dimon personally orchestrated a global deception in which trillions of dollars were systematically extracted from the homeless in exchange for the illusion of future home ownership. Upon realizing that their monthly mortgage payments were more than their unemployment and SSI checks could support, the homeless once again found themselves on the street.

Dimon's new program, which will fund worker training in major cities across America, will close the skills gap between college graduates and real world employment opportunities. Dimon denies any connection between his $13 billion settlement with the Justice Department and the new program:

“The new education initiative is my idea,” Dimon said. “No government agency or employee pressured me in any way. I'm doing this voluntarily as a way to repay my debt to society. True, a couple of government agencies, education advocate groups, former White House operatives, the Mayor of Chicago, The Aspen Forum for Community Solutions, state community colleges, teacher unions, and Eric Holder are interested and will be watching my progress in this initiative. But the mandatory “Workforce Readiness Gap Reports” I will be submitting annually are merely a formality.”

Mayor Rahm Emanuel of Chicago quickly added; “We have about 100,000 jobs open in the Chicago area and a nine percent unemployment and we have seven community colleges, so we've aligned each community college with an industry that was growing in our area,” Emanuel said. “We then said to the industry ‘do the curriculum, do the training of the teachers and drive the school so that it is specifically focused on that sector.'”

Many of us have watched this process unfold over the years sensing where it might lead. Well, the waiting is over. Have a look at this press release from the Chicago Mayor's Office. The first sentence reveals an “unprecedented five-year" plan. Has a familiar ring, doesn't it?

“JPMorgan Chase & Co. today announced it is committing $15 million toward workforce readiness and demand-driven training in Chicago, as part of its unprecedented five-year, $250 million global New Skills at Work initiative.”
