Back to the headline question of whether Lybia is slipping through our grip-- Perhaps what's really happening is that Lybia is gripping through our slip upon seeing that we're wearing a slip rather than what we used to wear. Unless Obama's got something up his sleeve, it seems Ghadaffy (may his spellings be many) has learned from observing Obama the opposite lesson he learned from Bush 43 (i.e., which lesson Ghadaffy appeared to have learned by agreeing to give up his nuclear program soon after our guys in Iraq pulled Saddam Hussein out of his spider hole). What's the lesson he's learned from observing Obama? I hate to reprise an oldie but goodie, but it does convey the point:
