From this glorious interview:

“In 2013, you ran on reducing income inequality. Where has it been hardest to make progress? Wages, housing, schools?” Chris Smith asked.“What's been hardest is the way our legal system is structured to favor private property,” de Blasio said. “I think people all over this city, of every background, would like to have the city government be able to determine which building goes where, how high it will be, who gets to live in it, what the rent will be."

Brilliant, Brilliant....

Comrades, Mayor de Blasio has outlined corrective measures to eliminate once and for all those corrupt government companies, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Since these agencies and the entire banking system have been financially overburdened with worthless mortgages, by eliminating property rights to individuals the ownership would fall to the state, mortgages and money would be absorbed and eliminated.

Comrades, it is not about the money, it is about teaching people to think twice how about how society should be administered, improvements that could be brought about by complicated laws and ordinances drafted to destroy mean capitalists and their bourgeois community.

In fact why stop there? Why not determine not only the size of living spaces based on family makeup, but the amount of children, the determination of who adheres to stereotypical gender roles, and a host of other social problems infecting our progressive lives. For once, senior citizens would no longer need to worry about living or have to look for cans and bottles to pay for their back alley abortions. Animals, plants and people living together in perfect harmony.

Indeed, if the founding fathers would have foreseen the constant strife imposed by capitalism, they would have written the Citizens Bill of Living Rights and attached it to the living, breathing Constitution. Thank goodness Mayor de Blasio and his majestic power to speak for all of us will finally bring out the spark to start the “Wonderful world of next Tuesday ™ ”.

Trashmouth... your commentary has charted a new path through unknown territory.

I for one, have never seen " de Blasio " and " majestic " used in the same sentence.

WTH? For the love of God! Sometimes it's worth it just to let these people ramble on about themselves as it reveals their true colors. Or in this case, color. Which is red.
I've often thought the reason why 44 never prosecuted the millions of fraudclosures by the large houses is because he couldn't stand the thought of people actually owning houses.
