Hey, who here read Highlights for Children when they were growing up? Anyone remember Goofus and Gallant? Goofus always said and did rude, crude, and stupid things, while Gallant was a paragon of good manners and behavior.

We need to revive them and make them relevant to today's young audiences. Goofus can be the rightwing racist teabagger who hates the government, while Gallant is the compassionate liberal who only cares about others and what the government can do for them.
