How do we know he was a Christian? Mr. Breivik stated so on Facebook and Twitter, case closed. State officials were prompt with their announcement of affiliation, unlike announcements of Islamic affiliation which are withheld for appropriate unending periods and often denied in perpetuity.

Mr. Breivik also asserted an association with the Masonic Temple and cited philosophers from Kant to Machiavelli. These associations are anathema to all fundamentalist Christians but should not be considered in any evaluation of Mr. Breivik's allegiances in order to avoid muddying the waters of condemnation.

Finally my comrades, we can paint all religion with the broad terrorist brush and besmirch these vile Christians with the accusations they so richly deserve.

I object to your objectivity. It is a well-established FACT, comrade, that Christianity is far more violent than Islam has ever been. Why else would the TSA be concentrating on them rather than the peaceful practioners of the religion of peace?

This Breivik seems to be an unpublished author who wanted to be heard, but his writings were long and tedious (a 1,500 pages Manifesto), so he figured that the only way to make the world read his works was to commit a mass murder. If he weren't so self-centered, he'd have realized that that would hurt the very cause he'd like to promote in ways that no leftist provocateur ever could. Now the left has their wet dream come true - a blonde, Nordic-looking Christian right-wing terrorist, all in one package.
