He Went to Paris

He went to Paris
Absent of answers
To questions that ISIS must go

He was progressive
Black and regressive
Watchn' the world while it blows

But the warm global breezes
The French wines and cheeses
Put his cognition at bay

He stammered and whimpered
While ISIS cells splintered
And four to five years slipped away

Then he met with Hollande
Stood mano-a-mano
And portrayed that he stands with him

He had a fine time, sipped on some French wine
And said he'd be soon back again

With none of the answers, to any of the questions
He left France and went on his way

'So he left the Hyatt
Came home for Thanksgiving
Thirteen more months slipped away

Well, ISIS killed babies
Bombs killed more ladies
And many more were left to die

His leadership tattered
The whole world is shattered
And all he could do was just sigh

While his polls were a falling, he was recalling
Answers he never found

So he hopped on Air Force One, skidded the runway
And left D.C. without a sound

Now he's back on the Island
Being Hawaiian
And smokes his green reefer each day

Writing his memoirs
Away from the jeering
But he don't care what most people

Through fifty-six years of grand self promotion
If he likes you he'll smile, and he'll say,

"Mathhews, some of it's magic, most of it tragic
But I had so much fun all of the way."

And he went to Paris
Avoiding the answers to questions
That the world must know

"Viva La France!"

I was in Paris only one time, El Presidente, and I was was down in their subway system waiting for a train (I'm probably using the wrong lingo to describe their system) and this mob of rowdy English soccer players got off and started running my way. All had big smiles on their faces and one of them, with his flag wrapped around himself, ran up to me and shouted "Viva La France!" I will never forget it. I always wondered if he thought I was French.

Paris is a very exciting place. Long live France!
