I denounce the American Thinker

User avatar
Website "American Thinker" has published a list of the top conservative <spit> websites.

The Top 40 Conservative Websites: May 28, 2015 Edition

I denounce these amateurs first for assuming that some websites are more equal than others, and second for omitting The People's Cube, the only website of significance.

The rest of the Interweb is only there to support the People's Cube.

Indeed Comrade Ivan. Surely they mean aside from The Cube. I think it is fairly well established that The Cube has no equal. It is the embodiment of equality, all things being equal. Perhaps they are suggesting where the best material for The Cube to refute can be found? Sort of like a who's who of counter-revolutionary websites? HEIL HILLARY!

User avatar
As a member of the Inner Party, I can say without reservation that I am against any Americans engaging in the act of thinking. Thus, this "American Thinker" is the very embodiment of a thought criminal.

User avatar
And I am against spelling "Amerikkka" with a "c."

Ivan the Stakhanovets wrote:The People's Cube, the only website of significance.
The correct nomenclature would be "the Mother of all Websites."

The referenced article is a vivid example of lie by omission. They don't tell you that the People's Cube ranked the prestigious #41 on their "Top 40" list - a glorious achievement any way you look at it, and a historic result of equal toil and pain of all selfless comrades in our great kollektive!

That said, our demand remains unchanged:

ONLINE EQUALITY NOW! EQUAL RANKING FOR ALL WEBSITES!

Have you ever wondered, if Google supports progressives whose goal is total equality, why do they indulge in painstaking algorithms that promote blatant online inequality?

User avatar
Ivan Betinov wrote:As a member of the Inner Party...

(ahem) What inner party? There is no inner party, as all are equal, no?

That inner party that doesn't exist is not meeting in tractor barn #2. They won't be there on Wednesday, and certainly not at 7:30 pm. There won't be a guest speaker, and refreshments will not be available at a cash bar.

On a separate note, Tractor Barn #2 will be closed to the public for inventory this coming Wednesday. Citizens are invited to stay clear of the premises.

User avatar
Didn't I tell you how great our kollektive is? I just made the above post and 10 minutes later they were at the Google headquarters protesting online inequality of search algorithms! Equal rations of beets for all!

And we're in it.

Occasionally I see the joke about "the 6 contradictions of socialism in America" reposted as a graphic, in various forms, on various websites, and with no attribution.

Allen West's site did that the other day, too. I emailed the editor and she added our name and a link to the Cube (than you!).

All this talk of 40 and 41 is irrelevant. The now deceased prog Douglas Adams made it clear that all things being equal (and they are), 42 is the ultimate answer. I am sure there is a corollary to the People's Cube. I just have to appeal to the Party to tell me what that might be.

Share and enjoy!

Red Salmon

User avatar
Red Salmon, please do recall that ever since the three mile high illuminated sign bearing the "Share and Enjoy" slogan fell half its height through the offices of the minor party officials above the Inner Party Bunker (That does NOT exist), the current truth of that slogan is now "Go Stick Your Head in a Pig."

Red Square wrote: And we're in it.

Are we ever in it. Right in it.

... oh, you meant the list.

"But I've been dropped right in it!"

"Not by me," said Vetinari. "I can assure you that if I had, as your ill-assumed street patois has it, 'dropped you in it' you would fully understand all meanings of 'drop' and have an unenviable knowledge of 'it'."

Look at the last line:

"Hat tip to Oleg Atbashian at ThePeoplescube.com"

If the Cube is a Mother, which it is, then even Allen West, an enemy of the State & Democrommunist Ideals, has suckled on the Cube titty. Just goes to show you the Almighty and Powerful influence of The Eternally True, Right, Upstanding, And Dominating People's Cube And Party Organ.

Comrades! I just got an email from the American Thinker, challenging us to a show trial.

The email was from Thomas Lifson, the owner and editor-in-chief of the American Thinker. It only contained a link to this discussion, with this subject line:

Let the show trial begin

This is a clear provocation! Someone thinks they can dismiss our denunciation by taking us to a Show Trial of Law! What do we say, comrades?

Let me remind everyone that the revolutionary law is on our side by default, and that everyone is considered guilty until proven otherwise by the troika of judges appointed by us.

In the spirit of fairness, however, let me also remind you that we can't see into the future and there have been cases when mistakes were made and convicted enemies of the people were indeed posthumously rehabilitated. Such mistakes can be prevented if we airbrush the convicted enemy from history, so that there's no one to rehabilitate. No person, no mistake, no problem.

I nominate Comrade Ivan the Stakhanovets to be the Judge. It's only fair because he exposed the crime and trumped up the charges.

Oh, goody, goody. I have not been to a show trial in ages. I volunteer to sell redistribute the popcorn, beet chips, and vodka. What fun! Let The People's Justice™ be done.

User avatar
Let me present the evidence, comrades:

Exhibit #1: In 2013, The People's Cube was declared Number One Communist Website in the world. That record still stands.

People's Cube Ranks #1 Among Top 5 Communist Websites

Exhibit #2: A prestigious badge of honor:

Exhibit #3:

1. The People's Cube - Rank: 139,945

2. Socialist Worker - Rank: 163,256

3. Communist Party USA - Rank: 531,010

4. The Marxist-Leninist - Rank: 2,575,225

5. Workers Power - Rank: 2,847,688

Much as a "suggestion" from the Commanding Officer is an order, I see the Nomination from the People's Director as an appointment. So be it.

If there is any hint of a defense for this heinous crime, someone needs to step up and act as Counselor for the guilty bastards accused. If I don't see a volunteer, I'll appoint the first one to sober up.
Image Have Che Gourmet cater the snacks in my chambers, and have Krasnodar ferment up a fresh batch of beet juice; and I'd better see little tiny onions on those plastic swords in my beverages, dammit. I had plans for Putout, but now that Craptek is back in action, she'll be busy helping with the Captain's nuts. Commodore Snoogie, I want two boatloads of undocumentedwitnesses to do the jobs Amerikkans won't do testify. Pamalinsky, change out the music in the jukebox.

Oh, Furthermore, I don't want to see any shenanigans like the pudding-wrestling that went on at my most recent show-trial, at least until college-girl night, and provided the pudding has been changed recently.

The evidence is pretty clear, it's already on the interwebs, and like the boss said, guilty until someone has a better idea. So it appears the issue at hand is how do we punish a website, and for how long?

Absolute power having corrupted absolutely, I'm taking the rest of the day off.

Court is adjourned.

User avatar
Ooo! A show trial! Time to dig out my videotape camera, I bought it just for occasions like this. Cost me 6 months Vodka rations, but I estimate that after just 2 show trials it'll be worth it.

By the way, Whatever happened to the "show" in show trial? The last one I attended it was all trial, no show. Where's the brass band? Where's the pyrotechnics? How about the dancers? At the least, some exciting, fast-paced trialside commentary would add some show to the show trial. It would also make the show trial an even greater object of pride for the State than it is now, and would actually make the defendants eager to meet their own demise.

After significant research, I'm throwing out this case.

American Thinker: In Austin, outrage over city-sponsored seminar on female leadership

American Thinker has been caught as a true offspring of the People's Cube. Their forte' is satire! See the above link! Double standards? Check. Offended victims? Yep. Government officials resigned in shame? Oh yes.

Here, a guy quotes The Onion as a point of his defense:

American Thinker: Indicted FIFA official cites article in Onion in his defense

The story referenced in the initial post could only be making fun of "conservative" websites by listing sites that are offshoots of the Mother of all Websites.

It is, in fact, the responsibility of each named site to say, "thanks, Mom..." American Thinker has facilitated this.

Case dismissed, pending transfer of payola to my account.

And more proof that it is a site is satire:
https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/20 ... e_tsa.html
"...the TSA intercepted attempts to bring dangerous items onto planes 5% of the time. This sends a clear message to terrorists that if they try to bring weapons or explosives onto airplanes, there is only a 1 in 5 chance they will be caught."

Comrades, this is the People's Math in action! A 5% success rate claimed as a 1 in 5 chance of success? 1 in 5 is 20% to the capitalists known to read the American Thinker! Those guys are an arm of the Party, slowly and quietly spreading the ways of the Workers Paradise of misinformation and propaganda...

Ivan... I am totally confused!

You have 1 pink carnation and 4 red carnations for The Thinker
.

How many pink carnations is that:

1 - 1 in 5
2 - 5%
3 - 20%
4 - You do not know?!

More proof - First "The People's Math" and now they are casting blame for their misleading (clever) "error" on innocent, unnamed "others."

Update:

"It was just announced that in an extensive test of the TSA's security, the TSA intercepted attempts to bring dangerous items onto planes 5% of the time. This sends a clear message to terrorists that if they try to bring weapons or explosives onto airplanes, there is only a 1-in-20 (note: this number was earlier gotten wrong do to an editing mistake, not the author) chance they will be caught."

Ahhh, the old "publish the story, then revise the numbers" trick...

It's worked on employment and GDP stories for years!
