Nostalgic In Berlin: The Cube At Checkpoint Charlie

Of course, they made a pilgrimage down to Checkpoint Charlie, where the Cube was lovingly cuddled by the nostalgic guard.

The Cube wanted to see the Great Wall of Berlin (which we insist must be restored in all its glory at taxpayer expense,) but all they could see in that once heroic place was the excess of petty bourgeois profiteering.

This won't stand. The Cube was reduced to play the role of a boorish American tourist and have pictures snapped of itself at the Berlin Wall Museum.

Then the Cube paid respect at the new Russian Embassy located in the building of the old Soviet Embassy with hammer, sickle, and all.

This watchtower still stands on the old East/West border in Thuringen.

At the monument to Soviet heroes in Berlin. Agent R complained she couldn't get there in the daytime. The Party doesn't believe in excuses, but since the picture turned out to be aesthetically pleasing to the proletarian eye, Agent R shall be spared the corrective 48 hours of self-criticism with a shovel.

Overall it was a good trip. Notes have been taken, conclusions drawn, and strategy emendated.
Undercover agent R. has been recommended for promotion to Party Inner Circle and permission to carry concealed Cube at all times.
