God Refuses to Comment on LA Fires as Blasphemous Film 'Conclave' Gets Oscar Nods

Heaven - God's representative, St. Peter, refused to confirm or deny any connection between the extensive destruction in Los Angeles and the  celebration of blasphemous and immoral behavior by that city.  In a short press conference today, he was asked specifically about nomination of the anti-Catholic film "Conclave" for various awards recently and the timing of the unprecedented suffering and devastation caused by the fires.

St. Peter was quoted as saying "I don't wish to comment on these theories of so-called 'fiery retribution' for the years and years and years and years of cultural products that celebrate evil and narcissistic  behavior.  Or the continued promotion of offensive and blasphemous films and music.  I didn't comment when the righteous and unrighteous in Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed and I don't intend to comment now.  Next question."
