Havana, Cuba -- Today Secretary of State John Kerry negotiating a treaty with Cuba's Raul Castro agreed that the provision requiring the North to find and apprehend runaway Cubans and return them South be included in the treaty.

The Obama administration expressed the hope that Congress will give Obama legislation to sign that will make a Fugitive Cuban Act bipartisan. He reiterated that should Congress fail to act he will be forced to use executive action to return runaway Cubans south to Cuba.

The forced repatriation of Runaway Cubans will inevitably have an impact on American Baseball. The negotiations fail to specify what impact they will have on MLB contracts signed by Cuban Refugees Migrants.

In the interest of fairness and equality, the Cubans are insisting that their runaway baseball players be returned to them and that in addition they be compensated for tax revenues stolen by the capitalist pigs on the mainland.

With the lifting of the embargo, will Havana soon have its own major league team?

Sports analysts are already speculating on what the name of such a team should be, and whether Gloria Estefan would be willing to sing the Cuban National Anthem on opening day.

Comrade Punk, your contributons to the Cube are noteworthy. Keep up the good work, new comrade!

After the shovels are cleaned and inventoried on Friday, drop by behind tractor barn #2 for political discourse, singing of marcing songs , and some distilled light refreshments...

The Cincinnati Reds could relocate to Cuba. They wouldn't even need to change their logo or uniform.

Why so little public information on what could be the largest engineering feat of the 21st Century? I'm talking of the Obama proposed "Liberation" Bridge from Florida Keys to Cuba. As one Administration official put it, "this project makes the 'bridge to nowhere' project in Ketchikan Alaska look like child's play". Nothing this progressive comes without cost, and the estimates are staggering. Democrats however have vowed that not one penny will come from increased taxes to Americans. Instead, the Democrat leadership has proposed a party approved 'expatiation' tax to Cubans who fled Cuba illegally and are now exploiting the US economy for ill gotten gain. The 30% confiscation tax of assets of those deporting the US mainland should more than cover the bridge design and build costs, and maintenance for years.

The initial plan is for traffic to flow one way, southbound with toll collections every 6.66 miles.

It makes me sad to remember the many good works Comrade Castro was planning for The People™ after The Revolution. If only he had been allowed to redistribute the wealth at that moment. Ah, but the greedy owners of the money escaped! Drat! Oh, well...what's a tyrant to do but begin again - reclaim what is rightfully someone else's ill gotten gains and make them his own - then re-redistribute once more in the never ending war on greed. It's sad.

I really don't know what there is to complain about. They all got free rice cookers a few years back. No rice but they should have been out in the rice fields if they wanted that.

Mr. Kerry testified that "they didn't know the difference between democracy and communism" and only wanted to be "left alone to tend to their rice fields". Kapitan Kangaroo Kourt perhaps the imperialist capitalist dogs were straifing them with their apocalypse now helicopters and loud Wagner operatic music?

It's possible, comrade Soviet Mike. I think Deer Leader's plan is that they will never have the opportunity to find out that there is any difference between communism and democracy.

The Party™ is working very hard to ensure that Americans can't tell the difference, also.
