This election season's virus is ready to go and on it's way!  In his last days before exile in office, Premier Cho Bai-Din is preparing to take the fall tee-ing up the ball to ensure Kamala's election results.

Just in time for the election, a new virus will return the populace to quarantines and masks, restoring fear and economic hardships that only a proper government can overcome; guaranteeing more "fundamental transformation" while ensuring that Kamala doesn't have to come out of the wine cellar of the VP's residence at the Naval Observatory to face the unwashed masses or the press. It worked before, it will work again.

Any disputes will be immediately attributed to Russian disinformation, racist homophobic ultra-MAGA dog whistles, just like last time. This time, there are no bathroom computer servers, no laptops, or drugged up family members. What could possibly go wrong?

Outstanding news, Other Ivan. I was starting to get worried that the project was lagging behind schedule. This must be one super-duper virus, fast spreading and hard hitting. It took months for the original covid (Covid Classic™) to produce the desired herd instinct response.  Of course, we do have the government mechanisms in place already this time, so that should go much smoother.

I have been aware of speculation that some excuse to disrupt society and restrict movement shortly before the upcoming November election for some time.  If it isn’t Marshal Law lockdowns, then it will be something else to distract and make it as difficult as possible to get to the polls.  Might I suggest voting early?  It isn’t hard to look up your local Board Of Elections to find out when early voting begins.  Often an excuse or reason must be given for voting early.  Most places have a list of allowed excuses.  I make a habit of choosing the most outlandish one.  If some foolish election official dares to challenge me I get LOUD and demand they prove otherwise.  I always get to vote early.  

Voter suppression is going to happen this time around.  Get your vote in.  Make it count!

This may be true.  But if you follow that to the logical conclusion then voting in person does not guarantee that one's vote will not be manipulated.  I can guarantee that a vote you actually cast has a much better chance of actually counting than one you don't. 

If the suspected emergency occurs it will likely strike in that period where it is too late to receive an absentee ballot and election day.  Early voting, at least in my County, begins BEFORE the last day for requesting an absentee ballot.  If the polls are closed down to mitigate said emergency then those who waited for election day have no chance of participating.  Early voting, while not a perfect solution, affords a greater chance of success.  Just sayin'.

The believably of the planned threat is immaterial.  The imposition of Marshal Law Stay At Home Order will be real enough.  The perfect part is that no one actually has to stay at home.  The polls can just be shut down because of the imposition of Marshal Law Stay At Home Order.
