New York by 2030: It Couldn't Have Been Communism

User avatar
We all know that communism has worked flawlessly every time it has been tried.  Finally, the enlightened masses of New York have chosen the firm path of socialism and have hastened the dawning of the long awaited Glorious World of Next Tuesday™.

But just in case things like rent control bring about increased homelessness and blighted properties, for example, how will capitalism be to blame?  Or if taxing the largest income earners causes them to leave and the city is driven into bankruptcy, how will tax cuts elsewhere be the root cause of increasing poverty?  If defunding the police leads to higher crime, how will Fascists™ be to blame?  We need to be ready.

Loyal Cubists everywhere, we must be prepared to fight and prevail in the propaganda wars.  We need now to stockpile our rhetorical ammunition.  We need snappy comebacks for the naysayers who read too much Thomas Sowell or watch too much Dave Ramsey.  How will we explain the Big Apple four years from now in case there is a gross misperception that communism has failed for the first time?

Communism never fails; it’s merely hampered by dizziness from success.

In Mamdani's New York, money runs out of you.

In Mamdani's New York, standards drop you.

Most Equally Esteemed Komissar al-Blogunov,

No need to fret.  To date our allies, the Democrats, have voted against funding SNAP benefits (thus starving The Children™) 14 times.  The continuing resolution sponsored by the Rethuglicans (spit spit) contains full funding for SNAP and all the other giveaways essential funding the Democrats are wringing their hands over.  The Democrats vote NO!  The reliable media boldly blames the Rethuglicans for the funding drought.  Polls, real and/or imagined, show that the Progs are eating it up and blame the Rethuglicans as well.

I doubt that there will be any “explaining” to do in 2030.  New York has ALWAYS been in the condition we will find it.  In fact, New York will be the most splendiferous it has ever been.  The talking heads will say it and the Progs will repeat it.

You worry too much.

Exactly!! If Mamdani is not flying this guy transwoman in from Washington State, to receive everything on "The Demands List" for free gender affirming care, but also freedom from incarceration itself, then Jackalopelipsky says communism will never work!!

Brian Buckingham deserves the first gender affirming everything for free at NYC expense before all the Mamdani Free Money is drained by lesser unprivileged types.

And there's this warmly reassuring quote from Google:

Cognitive fluency: When you hear something multiple times, your brain processes it more easily—a state known as processing fluency.

Misattribution of fluency: Your brain then misattributes this ease of processing as a signal of truth.

Familiarity breeds belief: Even if you initially know a statement is false, repeated exposure can make it seem more plausible, or even true, over time.

Thank you, comrade.  I will crack open a can of warm beet vodka and worry less.

That can't be Tractor Barn No. 2 - there's actual tractors in it......

......and TWO tractors at that. Must be some treasonous, treacherous Kulak or other that needs "reeducation" and "wealth redistribution".

Alert Zohran Mamdani immediately!

User avatar
And I'd like to know where you got the folding chair.

User avatar
Comrade Komissar al-Blogunov,

Wouldn’t Cognitive fluency reshape the realm of emotional, spiritual, and self-assessment, whereby everyone becomes a victim? Isn’t the primary goal to reconstruct social structures and the aesthetic as sources of the KKKorrect knowledge? Are we not armed with the vibrancy of dialectical reasoning?

P.S. The chair can be purchased at IKEA, but it requires a self-assessment kit to determine the best placement.

Don’t order your IKEA lawn chair until you’ve delivered your discretionary cash to Mamdani. He’s already running a cash deficit which will inhibit his administration’s infrastructure when it officially takes control.

Last century’s tractor is so in vogue.

Relax, comrades, all is well.  This is the section of the tractor barn we show off to visiting Western socialists.  Those same tractors have been leaving them gobsmacked with our abundance and efficiency since 1937.  In fact, they have been so effective that over the decades we ourselves have come to realize that we are the wealthiest and freest comrades in the world.  Sometimes, I weep for the oppressed masses in the West - the wage slaves who can't enjoy a can of beet vodka unless they pay for it themselves.

As for the folding chair, I found it.  In the evenings, I sit in it and recite passages from the Communist Manifesto to myself while enjoying the sunset and clear skies that Westerners can only dream of.

John Deere?  He must have been a Party™ member for his name to be on that plaque.

And in typical New York fashion, he'll soon be saying, "This time, I ain't askin'."

That's how we dispose of the bodies that are no longer able to work at the gulag.  After we appropriate their shovel for the next comrade.

Down here Texazistan we “actually”, “literally” hear the Zohran uttering this threat, “Don’t make me take out my machete.”

He could say that “actually”, “literally” and New Yorkers could be “starving” and no one would believe it made a difference in their political minds.

I believe it's time for New York to part ways with the rethugglican red states. In the spirit of "separate but equal,"  let's trade New York State to Canada, in exchange for British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and the future draft rights to northern Ontario (with the (ahem) Democratic Socialists retaining southern half of Ontario focused on the roads and lakefront, the Thousand Islands opposite New York and connecting Ottawa to Windsor (so we can tax a fair share from the Niagara Falls tourists who won't know any better anyway).

Our comrades in Central and Eastern Canuckistan already have accepted socialized medicine, runaway taxation of the rich, centralized control of personal finances (remember the truckers?) in the name of "Peace, Order, and Good Government", control of the media, and (BONUS!) their own capacity for proper gulags in Nunavut, Northwest Territories, and the Yukon.  New York is a worker's paradise and belongs with other such Socialist utopias.

Such actions will allow Birds of a feather flocking together equally, while still demanding inclusion and diversity without having to listen to Faux News.  Think of the diversity brought to Canada by Dear Leader B. Hussein Obama (PBUH) and Premier Cho Bai-Din through their importing so many citizens of Central America brought invited to NYC, and added to the minority populations of certain boroughs!  it will be Glorious!

We might even rename it to Nuev(x) York in honor of the immigrant population!  Her Thighness, our beloved many-tittied Empress Hillary already has a house in upstate NY with a Department of State server and can expedite the red tape while in her bathrobe.

It's a win-win for all, we just need to collect up some money from the oppressed who were left behind to fund the transition.
