Duly Elected POTUS Offered to Send "No Kings" Protestors to Saudi Arabia so Their Protests Would Make Sense

User avatar
New York, NY -- It was reported that US President Donald Trump reached out to the various organizers of the "No Kings" protests this weekend and offered to send them - free of charge - to Saudi Arabia so they can protest an actual hereditary monarch.  On condition of anonymity, staffers reported that President Trump bypassed the funders of the protests and sent staff directly to the protestors 'on the street' to make the offer.

One staffer was quoted as saying the President "...felt sorry for them.  He thought they'd look less ridiculous if they went to a country that was actually ruled by a King instead of someone who was democratically elected in a landslide."

Strangely, the protestors were not interested.

Yeah, what an opportunity lost, Panem.

Like look at these two protesters in Texazistan showing up at No Kings protest like it was Mrs. HEB’s Garden Party Gala attire.

It’s like some protesters have a wrong understanding of what No Kings means.

Most Equally Esteemed Comrades,

While Saudi Arabia is a most equal choice for the Relevance Relocation Program™, I would like to nominate Thailand as an acceptable destination.  I’m sure His Highness The King of Siam would make these protestors feel right at home.  As long as they didn’t disrespect the Monarchy in any way.  The protestors should also be careful what they say on spiritual matters.  The King is a religious figure as he is the direct male descendant of Buddha.  Or so it was explained to me oh so long ago.  He is also a good jet fighter pilot.  Or he was as a Prince.

We all know that the last place any of the No Kings protestors want to be is an actual monarchy.  Only the King / Crown has rights.  Mere subjects (that is anyone who is NOT the King) tend to just disappear if they get too above themselves.

No, these protestors are just Democrats who want to save Our Democracy™ by overturning elections.  Maybe the voters just need more re-education?

Very true - they don't take kindly to any comments about the King*

One of my (much-older) brothers spent a year there with the 42nd TEWS back in the Bad Old Days when they flew the old EB-66Cs and Es out of Takhli RTAFB. He loved Thailand - said they were some of the nicest, happiest and friendliest people he'd ever met. BUT - Don't insult the King or anyone else associated with royalty. They will literally kill you for that.

*They don't take kindly to negative comments about Elvis either.

The jackalope is having flashback to Clinton’s daze when normal USSA No Kings antics in Singapore got some comrade’s butt switched…really hard.

In 1994, a highly publicized case involved an American teenager named Michael Fay, who was sentenced to caning in Singapore for vandalism. He was convicted of vandalizing 18 cars and stealing property during a spree. The incident sparked international controversy, particularly in the United States, where the punishment was seen as excessively harsh. [1, 2, 3]
The case unfolded as follows:

• Vandalism and Theft: Michael Fay, an 18-year-old American student in Singapore, was found guilty of vandalizing cars, stealing property, and other offenses. [2, 3]
• Sentencing: He received a sentence of four months in prison and six strokes of a cane. [2]
• International Outcry: The sentence drew significant attention and criticism, especially from the United States, with President Bill Clinton even appealing for leniency. [1, 2]
• Reduced Sentence: After international pressure, the number of cane strokes was reduced from six to four. [2, 4]
• Caning Administered: The caning was carried out on May 5, 1994. [1, 2]
• Publicity: The case became a major media event, highlighting the cultural differences in punishment practices and leading to a temporary strain in Singapore-US relations, according to ADST.org. [1, 2, 3]

Well, he is the King of Rock and Roll.  Makes sense.

Meanwhile, somewhere on a small, mostly harmless planet in the Orion Arm, Elvis gently adjusts his sunglasses and croons, “Still the King, baby.”

(According to Douglass Adams, The King was last seen boarding a spacecraft in 1977, reportedly in search of a peanut butter and banana nebula.)
