Eileen brings you "I See Fire" in Ukrainian

I saw this version of "I See Fire" by Eileen and found it very moving. I added translation (I'm depending on YouTube's captions to get it right) and some pictures relating to the Russo-Ukraine war.

Eileen explains the motivation for doing this cover, "It’s been six years since I translated this amazing song by Ed Sheeran into Ukrainian, and my emotions evoked by this song have only become stronger. All because so many of my people know what it’s like to see fire – the terrifying fire of war. For me, this song is about strength and unity in the face of utmost danger, and that’s exactly why I decided that it was time to give my old translation of this song into my native Ukrainian language a fresh sound.

This video was made possible thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine because their daily heroic struggle against the Russian occupiers is the reason why I am able to create and just be alive..."

And here is her original video:

Wow - thank you for this!

I had no idea she existed until now. I just fell down a YouTube rabbit hole on her channel and watched a bunch of videos. What a talent!

Turns out her real name is Olena Androsova, she’s from Ostroh in western Ukraine, and she speaks more languages than I have shovels. (Which is saying something.)

I've become quite a fan. She is most equally talented.
