As far as the soul of wit goes, I was quoting a dead white guy.  He was LGBTQetc so perhaps he gets a bit of credit.  Otherwise the soul of wit is whatever it identifies as at this moment.  Perhaps you could supply the pronoun for the soul of wit as you perceive it.

Poetry doesn't always have to make sense, Comrade Salmon, and sense doesn't always have to make poetry. When the two combine, galaxies explode and we have the beauty of a supa nova that Scientists™ take decades and millions of dollars of global funding to never understand. All these experts and not one of them has ever been able to explain to me why I shouldn't stick my head in a blender.

As I understood it, poetry was developed as a form of expression for those who for whatever reason are incapable of making sense.  I could be wrong. 

I'm not certain I follow the mention of celestial phenomena.  Publicly funded or other wise.  I suspect our realities are on divergent courses. 

Be assured that I would NEVER attempt to dissuade you from placing your head in a blender.  Nor a food processor for that matter.  I had never considered that course of action before.  I'm sure there are pros and cons. 

On a completely different and unrelated matter, why were the Australian exchange pilots always so much better for long trips than exchange officers from other countries?  I was on one crew where we ended up in Bangkok Thailand.  Our co-pilot, an Australian, turned out to be part owner of one of the fine establishments on the Soi Kaboi.  (Soi Cowboy)  It might have been named after a famous group of North American Aboriginals.  As such, he is the coolest person I will ever know.  Details of our exploits there shall remain vague.  I have never been so clean in all my life.

If you choose that path, please do so on a Yellow Submarine, somewhere in Delaware, with a crew of active duty Smurfs, in a nice quiet inlet. There's no sense in making a mess in the Chesapeake Bay.

That might just save some galaxies from exploding and the Collective™ from a shit load of funding for scientists.

Just a suggestion. You could probably forgo the Smurfs.
