This is a quandary!

On one hand, profits are oppressive and racist.

On another hand, The NY Times is our reliable Party Organ.

And yet another hand, An $8.5 MILLION profit is pathetic! Should we demand that His Excellency's government subsidize them?

What to do?

The [New York Times] Company had an operating profit of $8.5 million in the third quarter of 2012 compared with $21.0 million in the same period of 2011. Excluding depreciation, amortization and severance, operating profit was $34.0 million in the third quarter of 2012 compared with $47.7 million in the third quarter of 2011.

I hear the Wall Street Journal is doing better than any other newspaper in the country. They're making money hand over fist. Guess they know something.

Good Stalin, NO! They should be made to provide their "service" for free and deposit those evil profits in a fund for the reeducation of The Children™ teaching them about redistribution and social justice. Afterall, the NYT is the Gray Whore you get what you pay for.
