Steal Everything From Me - MUSIC VIDEO

I first heard this song performed by the Beatles, but of course Money (That's What I Want) is a 1959 hit single by Barrett Strong. It was later covered by many others, with the same message: "The best things in life are free, but you can keep them for the birds and bees, I need money."

But Obama's promised change is in the air, fundamentally transforming this country - and with it, the words of older songs. The new song, made and recorded by Glen Shulfer, is titled "Steal Everything From Me." Need I mention that the author is the People's Cube reader?

Steal Everything From Me

I can see my money slip away.
'Cause Obama taking more each day.
He gonna take it and give it away.
Cause he gonna steal everything from me. That's right!

It wasn't long ago when we were free.
Now we ain't got no democracy.
He gonna make it the USSA.
Cause he gonna steal everything from me.

Whoa, you're gonna take it.
And I just can't make it anymore.
You're gonna forsake me, then you're gonna break me, yeah!
Cause you're gonna steal everything from me. Oh look out!

He gonna take away the arms we bear.
And stick the bible...you know where!
He gonna take them and lock em' away.
Cause he gonna steal everything from me.

Whoa, you're gonna take it.
And I just can't make it anymore.
You're gonna forsake me, then you're gonna break me, yeah!
Cause you're gonna steal everything from me.
You're gonna steal everything but me!

Comrade Rock in the USSA you must have some thoughts on how to improve on this blasphemous trash? From what I see here, this Glen (Beck) Shulfer is mocking Dear leader.

Ironic though, but isn't it? Socialism sucks all the "surplus labor" out of the workers and then, once sucked dry moves on to suck all the "surplus labor" out of other populations of workers so as to make sure the citizens of the host country don't rise up and have a revolution.

Comrade Otis,

Brevity is the soul of wit.

Comrade Walrus, it is, indeed, tragical what the Rethuglikkkan Kool-Aid has done to some.

But with a good Judas-Priest-like twin guitar solo throughout the song at, oh, say 747 taking off volume, you'd never hear the words anyway.

At least, that's what I'd do.
